We strive to be transparent in all our aspects, including shipping, so that you know when are you getting your products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can initiate a return with our easy online process.

Holiday Delivery Schedule

We have an updated delivery schedule for the Holidays. The shipping companies that we work with are closed for the holidays. Please make a note of that before placing the order.

  • CA, AZ and NV Orders:
    All the order placed after Thursday 12/22/2022 (4:00 PM PST) will be shipped out following Tuesday 12/27/2022.
  • WA, OR, ID, NM, CO and UT Orders:
    All the order placed after Wednesday 12/21/2022 (4:00 PM PST) will be shipped out following Tuesday 12/27/2022.
  • Rest of the USA Orders:
    All the order placed after Wednesday 12/21/2022 (4:00 PM PST) will be shipped out following Tuesday 12/27/2022.

Shipping Options

Depending upon your geographic location and the products that you have added to your shopping cart, we offer a combination of the following shipping options:

  1. Perishable Food Express Shipping
  2. Economy Shipping
  3. Standard Shipping
  4. Free Store Pickup
  5. SHIPSI Instant Delivery

Perishable Food Express Shipping: This method is used to ship perishable products like meat. Since it is a time-sensitive shipment, we ensure that the products reach you in a maximum of 2 days after shipping your order.


Economy Shipping: It is the cheaper shipping option that you can select for non-perishable products. The delivery window is 2 to 8 business days depending upon your geographic location.

Standard Shipping: It is the faster shipping option that you can select for non-perishable products. The delivery window is 2 to 5 business days depending upon your geographic location.

Free Store Pickup: We also offer Free Store Pickup option if you want to pick up your order in person from our Downtown Los Angeles location. We don’t charge any shipping fee with this option. There is no order minimum requriement for this shipping option.

SHIPSI Instant Delivery: We also offer Instant Delivery within 2 hours for the 30 miles radius of Downtown Los Angeles. You will get instant notification on your email as soon as your order is picked up from our location. You can track your order in real-time with our Instant Delivery service.

Product Packaging

  • Perishable Products
    We ship meat and other perishable products to you in a specialized cooler box made of aluminum foil. Aluminum foil helps preserve the coldness inside the box. We add dry ice and/or gel packs inside the box so that it remains frozen. Cooler box with dry ice will make sure your products are not spoiled and arrive at you in a perfect condition.
  • Non-Perishable Products
    All the regular products are shipped in a regular corrugated box, similar to what you get from other e-commerce vendors.

Shipping Cost

If your order contains perishable products like meat, you will see “Perishable Food Shipping” as the shipping method in the checkout process. By choosing this method, you will get the products delivered to your doorstep within 1-3 business days depending upon your geographic location.

  • CA, AZ and NV Orders:
    Flat $10 shipping cost if you are in either of these states. For orders greater than $100, you are eligible for a Free Shipping.
  • WA, OR, ID, NM, CO and UT Orders:
    Flat $15 shipping cost if you are in either of these states. For orders greater than $150, you are eligible for a Free Shipping.
  • Rest of the USA Orders:
    The shipping cost is calculated automatically depending upon the weight of the items in your order. If your order has perishable products, then it will be delivered to you in 2 days through an Air Cargo. If your order has non-perishable products, then it will be delivered to you using ground shipment method within 2 to 5 business days. If your order contains both Perishable and Non-Perishable products, then your perishable products will be delivered to you in 2 business days through an Air Cargo. Non-Perishable products will be delivered separately using ground shipment methods.

Shipping Time

  • CA, AZ, and NV Orders:
    We try to deliver most of the CA, AZ and NV order in one business day. The cutoff time for the orders is 2 pm for the next day delivery if your order is placed Monday to Thursday.
    If the order is placed after Thursday 2 pm, then it will be shipped out on the following Sunday with a delivery on Monday.
  • Rest of the USA Orders:
    For the rest of the USA orders, the delivery time is 2 to 3 business days after we have shipped your order. The cutoff time for the orders is 2 pm if the order is placed Monday to Wednesday.
    If the order is placed after Wednesday 2 pm, then it will be shipped out on the following Sunday with a delivery within 2 days.

Shipping Policies

  • Delivery attempted:
    Please make sure you have provided us with the details to successfully deliver the package to you. If you live in a gated community or apartment complex, ensure you have provided us with the Security or Gate Code. If the shipping company attempted delivery to your address and couldn’t deliver it to you, you will have to pick up the package from the shipping company’s warehouse locations. eGrocers will not be responsible for the package and its contents if the shipment is not received in the first place. You can provide additional delivery details in the Notes section of the shopping cart before you start to checkout. Please remember that our shipping company may or may not call you when they attempted delivery at your address.
  • Picked up late:
    Once we ship the order, you will get the shipping confirmation email. It will contain the link with which you can check the status of your package. Please check your spam or junk folder if you didn’t receive the email. A customer is responsible for picking up the package from the front door, porch, or leasing office. The shipping company that delivers the package may or may not call the customer or knock on the door. eGrocers will not be liable if the package is picked up late.
  • Missing items:
    If there are missing items in your order after receiving the delivery, please take pictures of what you have received and reach out to us within one business day. We will work with you to resolve the issue. If you reach out to us after one business day, your claim would be considered void.
  • Meat partially thawed:
    When we ship the order, we pack it with enough dry ice and gel packs (if needed) so that the perishable items reach you in great condition. When you receive the package and suspect that the perishable item has (partially) thawed on arrival, there is no need to panic. Please take the temperature reading of the perishable item with a food thermometer (and not a medical or clinical thermometer). If the temperature reading is less than 40°F, we recommend using that item immediately and not refreezing it. If it is 40°F or more, take a picture of the item(s) along with the temperature reading, and reach out to us with all those details within one business day. We will either send you the replacement items or issue you a refund for the thawed items. If you fail to provide us with those details within one business day after receiving your package, your claim would be considered void.

Shipping Method

  • Our perishable shipping method will deliver the products to you within 2 to 3 business days.
  • Our economy shipping method for non-perishable products will deliver the products to you within 7 to 10 business days.
  • We use USPS, UPS or FedEx for delivery.
  • You don’t have to be present to receive your package as the shipping company will leave your package at your front door.
